Safety best practices for Gletra buyers, sellers, and home service customers using marketplace, chat, voice/video calls, and in-home services.

Your safety is Gletra's highest priority. These Safety Guidelines provide practical recommendations for protecting yourself when shopping on our marketplace, communicating via Gletra Chat and voice/video calls, booking in-home services, and interacting with sellers and service providers.

While Gletra implements platform security measures including KYC verification, background checks for service providers, fraud monitoring, and 24/7 safety reporting tools, users share responsibility for exercising caution and following these guidelines.

These guidelines apply to all Gletra users regardless of role. Violations of safety-related conduct may result in account restrictions under our User Conduct Policy. In emergencies during active home service bookings, use the in-app Emergency button to alert Gletra Safety Team and local authorities.

Report safety concerns immediately through in-app reporting or safety@gletra.com. For imminent danger, contact local emergency services (112 in India) first.

  • Use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication
  • Never share OTPs, passwords, UPI PINs, or CVV codes with anyone
  • Gletra staff will never ask for your password or OTP via chat or call

Gletra Chat is for transaction-related communication. Safety rules:

  • Do not share Aadhaar, PAN, full card numbers, or home security details unnecessarily
  • Block and report users who send harassment, threats, or inappropriate content
  • Be cautious of links sent in chat; verify they point to gletra.com domains
  • Report requests to move conversation to personal WhatsApp for payment

  • Do not leave provider alone in home unless necessary and trusted
  • Use in-app Emergency button for immediate safety concerns
  • Decline requests to pay in cash if you prepaid through Gletra

Sellers and service providers should: verify buyer identity for high-value orders, avoid sharing personal contact details unnecessarily, report threatening buyer behavior, and use Gletra's documented channels for all communication to maintain evidence for disputes.
